MVMT is proud to offer Pilates Sports Center Teacher Training program. Led by MVMT studio founder and PSC Master Trainer Kimberly Campos. PSC is an internationally recognized program that provides both Classical and Progressive approach to Pilates that preserves the essence of the original technique as Joseph Pilates designed but incorporates today's knowledge and principles. You will learn the Pilates repertoire in both styles side by side.
Full or Modular Training available
2 Day Start Up Program Fundamentals and Philosophy (required for all programs). Two days of building the foundation of your teacher training program. Learn the alignment, cues, anatomy, and assessment needed to teach effectively. PMA CEC's available.
Bridge discount given to previously certified Pilates Instructors in the module they are certified in full training includes Fundamentals, Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Anatomy.

Comprehensive Professional Training Includes:
• 18 hours of continuing education toward your Yoga Alliance requirement
• An enriched understanding of the restorative yoga format
• Student manual with pictures of the poses we will be learning
• How to safely teach and sequence the foundational restorative poses
• How to modify the poses for students individual needs
• The effects of restorative yoga on the nervous system and the relaxation response
• How to integrate the breath and meditation into your restorative yoga classes
PRE-REQUISITE:
200-hour basic yoga teacher certification

Experienced in restorative yoga practice and taken the “Fundamentals of Yoga” course

Certification:
18 hours of the training is considered the coursework. Outside of the coursework you will need to log 3 hours of practice teaching with feedback from student, complete 3 observation forms after observing restorative yoga classes, as well as teach a 60 min class observed by your teacher trainer with feedback. Once completing the requirements you will receive your certificate to register with the yoga alliance and will be certified to teach restorative yoga poses.
